\\ \\ Prof. Adelio Salsano was born in 1941. Passed in 1981 to the University of Rome Tor Vergata, he served as professor of microelectronics. He also played an intense organizational activity at the National Research Council (CNR), as member of the Committee of Engineering, and at the Italian Space Agency (ASI), as part of the Technical-Scientific Committee. He was one of the forerunners in the study of digital systems, forming, in his career, hundreds of engineers who have contributed to the development of the electronics industry in Italy. Prof Salsano was also a successful and internationally appreciated researcher on fault-tolerant circuit design, with a focus on systems for space applications. The whole academic community, together with his students and, in particular, his employees, remembers him as a very available and thoughtful person and, above all, generous. His enthusiasm for science and education left a deep and indelible mark in all of us who had the privilege to know him. In close collaboration with the [[http://dspvlsi.uniroma2.it/|DSP VLSI Group]], */ Our research interests are design for test, yield and reliability modeling, fault-tolerant architectures, on-line testing, error correcting codes. We have an established expertise in the design of advanced testing architectures, reliable systems for space applications, and nano scale circuits and systems. \\ \\ \\ \\ {{:updated.png?100}}**[[ http://dftgroup.uniroma2.it/doku.php?id=thesis|Available Theses]]** \\ \\ /* __Special Issues of Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computing.__ **"Advanced Command, Control and On-Board Data Processing for Space Avionic Systems" Submission deadline: September 1, 2017.**\\ {{:cfp_tetcsi_avionics_2_.pdf|}} __Special Issues of Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computing.__ **"Design of Reversible Computing Systems Submission deadline: March 1, 2018.** \\ {{:cfp_tetcsi_drcs_2_.pdf|}} */ Congratulations to Vishal Gupta for receiving the ** Best Paper Award at DTIS 2019 ** with the paper "Perovskite based Low Power Synaptic Memristor Device for Neuromorphic application" authors V.
